Polly's Hot Paupers have found vast riches in the music of Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Bix Biederbecke and Eddie Condon. From American classics to Chicago's South side to New Orleans hot jazz, The Paupers play it all with an infectious beat.

This band understands ensemble playing, with three horns improvising and building on each other to create an ever-changing texture over a solid bed of rhythm.

Polly Edgerton lives in Roseville where she can sometimes be heard playing a hot lick in a key.

Jim Gammon is one exciting trumpet player from El Cerrito with an amazing range, he’ll dazzle you.

Brandon Au of Carmichael recently graduated from Easy Bay State U. on a feisty trombone and intriguing vocals.

Hugh O'Donnell hails from Hayward where he
pounds out rhythm on everything he touches.

Tom Clark lives in Santa Rosa. He plays string bass when he's not off hiking in the Sierras.

Andy Clark an aspiring teen, lives in Roseville and loves to play piano, classical and jazz.

All of these Paupers are a kick to hang around with. You can dance, eat, listen, chat, who knows you may even get into a serious game of Yu-Gi-Oh with their manager, Thomas Edgerton, age 12.
