Paupers
Recording in April
The Paupers will be recording another CD in April 2008. Stay
tuned for more details.
Practing at the OCB in Albany.
We saw "Polly's Hot Paupers" in the Discovery Museum in Old Sacramento. It was a very small and intimate location. The acoustics were amazingly good as was the band. - Jim and Marilyn May 2003
Some comments the band received after playing for T.R.A.D.J.A.S.S. in October 2003:
- The band had
a driving energy right from the first tune and every song
that followed maintained that feeling. Very different from many of the sit
down & fall asleep-and wake up for your solo-bands we are used to seeing/
hearing at these clubs - Every
musician in the band was a stellar performer in their own right but
they really had a connection/ communication with each other. - Tight/ driving rhythm section.
- Great front
line and really liked those back-up fills, riffs that the
other horn players used to back the solos. - Really classy group, very much like a festival or show band!
- This is exactly the type of band we like to see at a festival.
